Our One Year Anniversary: A Look Back

January 18, 2017 | Ryan Yeager

One year ago today

I can’t believe a year ago today we officially opened for business!

This year has been an exciting one for the Main Entrée team. Our dream of starting this e-commerce endeavor became a reality and we got the opportunity to learn from each other and from our customers. In fact, we quickly made some changes to our website and product catalogue after receiving feedback from customers. We added our Build Your Own Box section, which has been our most popular way to shop so far. We also added in an extended line of products, including unique items such as Wagyu beef burgers, duck breast, sausages, and fajita meats. We even added additional pack sizes to make shopping more convenient and the cost per piece lower with larger purchases.

We had the privilege of making friends at food and wine festivals. Doing these events gave us the opportunity to construct our own “look” and show our customers who we really are. These shows also gave us some pretty important feedback: our consumers wanted gift card options! As a result, we added gift cards to our website.

We made it through our first holiday season, which was a good learning process for all of us, from the marketing aspect, to handling the influx in orders. I’m honored our customers chose Main Entrée as the gift they wanted to send to their loved ones. It means so much to all of us.

As we begin our second year of business, I wanted to thank our customers and our Main Entrée team for their support. Thank you for making a dream of mine come true.

To celebrate this exciting day, we will be offering a 25% off discount site wide, from now until January 25th, 2017. Just use coupon code ONEYEAR at checkout!

Looking forward to another year of food and friendship,

Ryan Yeager
